Let's talk's a test -look in the mirror and stick out your tongue. It's fat, roundish and loaded with bumps.

Now check out Hema's tongue in the photo below! Whoa! Totally different! Her tongue is flat, long and very few visible bumps. Do you think that might make a difference in what she should be eating?
Her tongue has taste buds on the back side - notice the location of her nose, just above her tongue, her nose has well over 300 times better sense of smell than a human. In some breeds, like a Blood Hound, their sense of smell
is even more intense because when they smell something on the ground, their long ears drape their nose isolating the smell even more.
                 Smell, in a dog, takes first place over anything else!
